EM Dash Lament

It’s the little ways that I feel AI impacting my day-to-day. I’ve used em dashes for years. Here I am using them in a blog post back in 2018: Workout Wednesday 2018 Week 52. I’ve used spaced en dash and em dash interchangeably - I’m no walking MLA hand guide or anything.

Regardless, I’m going back to revise work all the time to pull the em dash so people don’t assume my rambling thoughts are AI slop. I want everyone to know it’s my slop.

Same with emojis, rip this functionality 🪦
