Who I Am

Howdy, I’m Jared Duquette. I lead data, analytics, and software teams with a focus on building practical, scalable systems that help organizations move faster and make better decisions. My work blends strategy with hands-on engineering: designing data architectures, leading developers, modernizing legacy systems, and delivering analytics that actually change how people operate day to day.

Across my career I’ve moved through roles in BI, data engineering, software development leadership, and IT management. That mix gives me a bias toward clarity, simplicity, and execution. I work closely with business leaders, transform ambiguous problems into structured solutions, and drive outcomes through reliable pipelines, strong data models, and purpose-built applications.

What I Do

• Build and lead teams across data engineering, software development, and analytics

• Architect data platforms and integrations across SQL Server, APIs, SaaS systems, and on-prem infrastructure

• Modernize pipelines using Python, orchestration frameworks, and cloud-ready patterns

• Deliver BI systems that move beyond reporting toward decision support

• Bridge IT and business stakeholders through straightforward communication and technical leadership

• Integrate practical AI solutions into existing workflows to elevate productivity and insight

My approach is direct: “what problem are you trying to solve?” I understand the problem, design the simplest solution that solves it, iterate quickly, and communicating clearly the whole way.

Today I serve as an IT Manager for Data & Software, leading a team focused on analytics infrastructure, integrations, and AI.

I partner with business units to streamline operations, improve data quality, enhance analytics infrastructure, and build dependable middleware between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.

My goal is simple: create environments where data, tools, and people work together without friction.
