Let's Talk Data - #DataFam Discord

The Tableau Community loves Twitter. After discussing with the greater community, Twitter DMs and Zoom meetings are the way to go.
I love talking data. From presenting and speaking in the community, leading a team of analysts, or striking up conversation, data is a compelling passion in my life.
This morning, I was taking a long walk in my neighborhood in Grand Rapids, listening to a podcast called Data Viz Today with Alli Torban. I was listening to the December bonus episode, which was a crossover pod from Data Stories with Enrico Bertini and Moritz Stefaner.
The discussion turned to places where the community can have an open and deeper conversation than is possible or common on Twitter. Now I’m a big fan of twitter, but I have a small number of followers. I think that discord is an amazing place to have conversations and discuss with people on topics you care about. I’ve seen requests on reddit for a Tableau Discord server, and haven’t been able to find one.
